Love Mission's Wraparound program is a testament to their commitment to not only addressing immediate needs but also preventing clients from returning to homelessness. In just two years, Love Mission helped house 523 men and women, demonstrating the effectiveness of their boots-on-the-ground approach.
our commitment to serving the community drives everything we do. Through innovative logistics solutions and strategic partnerships, we will continue to pursue our vision of a healthier, more resilient community for all.
U.S. food waste is estimated to be 30-40% of the food supply, and Californians throw away approximately 6 million tons of food waste annually. Approximately 20% of the county's residents qualify for assistance from Love Mission Community Development Inc. Among those we assist, nearly half are children who rely on our programs. To facilitate efficient distribution, we operate a warehouse facility where donated or rescued food is stored. We actively collaborate with local food growers, retailers, wholesalers, and processors to obtain food. Additionally, we collect immediate food donations from restaurants for distribution to service programs. We anticipate an increasing demand for our services, particularly among children, over the next five years.

If Love Mission doesn't get $100 million for Fresno Food Hub, families in 12 western states may continue to face food insecurity. Without investment, the cycle of poverty and hunger will persist. Food waste will also escalate, further damaging the environment.
